The CrossFit Murph Challenge pays tribute to the memory of fallen Navy SEAL Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, who bravely gave his life in Afghanistan on June 28, 2005. This rigorous workout serves as a testament to his sacrifice and dedication to duty, resonating with CrossFit athletes worldwide.

Designed as a demanding trial of both physical strength and mental fortitude, the challenge comprises:

  • A one-mile run
  • 100 pull-ups
  • 200 push-ups
  • 300 squats
  • Concluding with another one-mile run

Participants typically undertake this challenge while wearing a weighted vest, with males typically donning a 20-pound vest and females a 14-pound vest.
