MVRK 2-IN-1 Travel Duffle

I really like the quality of this bag; I can't speak to its long-term durability, as I only just got it, but it feels very well made. I also love the way it looks. Perfect for business and personal travel.

Using on a two day trip and duffle is working very well. Large enough for what is needed, with multiple pockets for storage. Separate, detachable pouch is handy, though not using it separately this time. Pay attention to the "L" (liter) sizes when looking at duffles. This one is good sized, but not so large you would want wheels. Smaller ones tend to be useful just for a trip to the gym, etc., while this one is large enough for a short trip. Recommended.

First things first, MVRK stands for Maverick. This is a well constructed duffle with "satchel" side bag. A lot of space to hold more than a weekend's worth of clothes and shoes. The outer material looks and feels like it repels liquids easily and is wipeable. I haven't spilled anything on it yet but this could easily work as a swimmers duffle. Plenty of storage and inside the compartments, they have done a great job in creating secure areas to separate your belongings.

The satchel bag is attached with a very strong patch of velcro and some unique clips. The clips slide down to unlock, but are magnetic and snap into place to lock!!! Very trick!!!. The handle is a rubber handle that is very comfortable and thick. The shoulder strap can be switched from the duffle and attached in a couple of different positions to carry the bag very comfortably, based on your body type and carrying preference. Again, they have separators inside the compartments to help with organization. From a travel perspective, this gives you your personal belongings, while being able to place the duffle in the overhead. The satchel bag looks big enough to carry an iPad or other regular size tablet (probably too small for an iPad Pro).

We've had a few old gym bags that have been passed around the house for different family members to use for short vacations or when visiting friends for sleepovers. They were starting to get a little tired, so I ordered this hoping it would be an improvement over what I already have. Let me tell you, it succeeds in being better in all areas.

The waterproof outer shell is durable and should save us from wet clothes. It says it's TSA certified, and I'll take their word for it. It looks like the appropriate size for a carry on. The zippers are durable and don't get hung up easily. The best part is what makes it 2-in-1. There is a firmly secured removable portion that can be used to carry essentials while already at your destination. There's a ton of velcro that hold the two portions together and it's very solid when being used like that. Versatility in a product makes you much more likely to use it. It has plenty of pockets for storage and will definitely work for a weekend or overnight bag. The removable portion would also work well for a toiletry bag.
